ICMSF Annual Meeting 2025

The members and consultants of the ICMSF convene annually. This year, the meeting was held in person from 15 to 26 October 2025 in Bogor, Indonesia.
The 58th annual meeting focused primarily on the Commission’s latest initiative, Book 9. This publication examines strategies for balancing food safety management with the broader challenges of food security and sustainability.
In addition to discussions on Book 9, the meeting included planning for other ICMSF activities, such as workshops, symposia, position papers, and knowledge clips.
The Commission also welcomed its esteemed new member, Dr Francisco Garcés-Vega, Food Safety Consultant from Cali, Colombia, who has been actively contributing to the Commission as a consultant.
